Malachite is associated with the fourth chakra  – The heart.  The heart chakra is the connection between the lower chakras (root, sacral and solar plexus) and the higher chakras (throat, third eye and crown). This chakra connects our earthly self with our spiritual self.  Malachite represents a connection between the physical and the spiritual.  If you feel out of balance between the two, wearing Malachite will assist in bringing you back into that balance.

Malachite activates healing of emotional issues and can help illuminate hidden trauma to facilitate the healing process.  Meditate with it.  Gaze into it.  Let the patterns reveal the truths.  Malachite’s rich green colors are the colors of lush vegetation, colors of life growing in full exposure to the light.  With Malachite, there can be no secrets hidden in the dark recesses.

When you work with crystals, be aware of their physical properties.  Those properties can also have metaphysical meanings.  Just like your heart, Malachite is soft and can be easily damaged.

The energy of Malachite is masculine and projective.   Malachite will not support an unwillingness to heal or feel love.  Working with Malachite initiates heart healing and the sense of being loved……whether you believe you are ready for it or not.  Malachite says “You are ready”!

 Malachite’s color is the green of lush, thriving plants fed by the Sun.  During photosynthesis, plants convert light energy into chemical energy that can be used to fuel the plant’s growth.  Malachite reminds you, that by bringing hidden trauma and heartache into the light, whatever has suppressed your loving potential is exposed to a life affirming process that strengthens your spirit and allows you to grow again despite the obstacles of  life.
